The weekend of October 13-15, 2006 the class of 1956 held its annual reunion in San Diego, CA. Admiral John H. (Hank) Ruehlin ’56 was the host. Adm. Ruehlin was the first of only two NROTC graduates from OSU to make Admiral. Attendees included Sara and Jim Bagley ’56, Noni and Jack Campbell ’56, Erika and Joe Kirwin ’56, Jackie and Tom Neal ’56, Bev and Denny O’Brien ’56, Sue and Mel Rice ’56, Peggy and Hank Ruehlin and the last remaining bachelor, therefore the most eligible bachelor in our class, Al Spilker ’56. Sam and Jennifer Gray, a nearby neighbor of the Ruehlin’s, joined us for the Friday night party and game on Saturday. Gray is a 2000 graduate of OSU and is a Naval aviator.
