Memorial Day By Brother Jim Hensal ‘67

The year I turned eighteen I graduated from high school, entered college and joined Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. I also received a gift from Uncle Sam called a draft card, but it contained a proviso that if I stayed in college for four years I would not be called up. I loved college. We studied hard and played hard. During my freshman year news stories would sporadically run about trouble in some small country, halfway around the world called Vietnam. I paid little attention. Click “Read More” to read the full story.

Transferring House to Nationals

In January we communicated that the Ohio Zeta chapter was suspended from operation until Fall 2024.  Since that time the House has been systematically shut down with all unnecessary expenses removed and operations at barebones levels. Our only source of income without substantial House renovation is rental of parking spaces and contributions from alumni. Click “Read More” for a full update.

Phi Delta Theta National’s Statement on Racial Justice

“As the world continues to grapple with issues surrounding the inexcusable death of George Floyd, Phi Delta Theta acknowledges it can do more as a fraternal leader.” As the nation continues to be rocked by protests, Phi Delta Theta National has released a statement expressing continued support for equality and justice. Remembering Traditions

Current Buckeyes may miss out on many of the things we loved about our Ohio State experience. But in the midst of these unfortunate cancellations, we suggest looking back on better days. In remembering our traditions, we reassure ourselves that someday they will return, for us and future generations of Buckeyes to enjoy. Click “Read More” for a look back on some of the Buckeye traditions.
