Happy holidays everyone. In recent news, our Chapter just inducted the Fall 2018 pledge class of Phikeia this past week which included 15 new members. We also brought back the annual Christmas date party and I have attached a picture of the active Chapter in this email. As of today, our new executive board has taken over and I have attached their contact information below.
Annual Fund Update – November 2018
2018-19 Annual Giving Year Off to a Great Start
Thank you to alumni donors who have already made their gift for the 2018-19 annual fund. As a reminder, the annual fund runs from September 1 through August 31 each year, and supports alumni communications and events, house renovations, and chapter resources on a yearly basis.

Thankful for Ohio Zeta Brotherhood
We want to wish all of our current Ohio Zeta Chapter undergraduates as well as all of our alumni a Happy Thanksgiving for the month of November. The holiday season is always a time of reflection, celebration, memories and most importantly; gratitude. Whether you have a short drive, a day of flight connections or if you stay on campus to catch up on work over the holidays, we hope that you enjoy your time with your families and with yourselves.

National Update
North-American Interfraternity Conference Adopts Hard Alcohol Policy
In an important, decisive action to enhance health and safety in fraternity communities, the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) adopted a standard prohibiting hard alcohol from fraternity chapter facilities and events.
The resolution was introduced during the Aug. 27 NIC annual meeting by Sigma Chi through its voting delegate, 70th Grand Consul Tommy Geddings, SOUTH CAROLINA 1985, who urged a universal health and safety standard among NIC member fraternities.

Another Successful Year
Ohio Zeta Chapter would like to thank the 95 brothers who have added their names to our Honor Roll this year and collectively contributed $17,435. Without the loyal support of donors, we would not be able to accomplish our goals, so thank you to these generous brothers for playing a vital role.
