Class of 2005
(1512 Lynfield Ave., Moon Township, PA 15108; [email protected]) I am currently working in the DC area for a government contractor doing law enforcement and homeland security analysis, after going back to school to obtain a Master’s degree at Mercyhurst College in 2009. Not married and no kids yet, due to my numerous relocations over the years: Pittsburgh, Pa; Charleston, SC; Oakland, Calif.; Erie, Pa.; and Washington DC. It’s been a crazy ride. I still play hockey weekly and remember the great times I had Ohio State on a regular basis.

(8563 Evergreen Trail, Olmsted Falls, OH 44138; [email protected]) Hope all is well with Ohio Zeta!! Thank you for the outreach. I am currently living in Cleveland, Ohio. I work for DHS/TSA as a Transportation Security Inspector for Aviation. Basically, I work with the airports, air carriers, and flight schools to ensure they are compliant with Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations and their various security programs. Additionally, we follow up issues of non-compliance with corrective action ranging from simple counseling to substantial civil penalties. So, all in all it is an interesting gig and no two days are the same!
I graduated from OSU in 2004 with my B.A. in Criminology. I chose PDT b/c we were the baddest house on campus! No one screwed with us then cause if you did, you had 50 guys standing on your porch! Truly, we looked out for each other and forged strong bonds of true friendship that have lasted since graduation. The two guys truly instrumental in me joining the house were Brian Gerschutz (my big) and Sean Carano…
Currently, I am living the bachelor lifestyle as my former girlfriend and I split up about 6 months ago.. not to put a downer in this story, it’s the best thing that has happened to me! Haha…
Anyways, I am about to board a flight bound for Frankfurt, Germany! Gonna travel around Germany, Austria, and Italy with some friends I met there 14 years ago. Should be an adventure for sure! The highlight of the trip is going to be Oktoberfest in Munich!!
So, in closing, I hope and have faith that Ohio Zeta is in great hands! Hopefully Roemer is still kicking and being… uh… Roemeresqe!! Haha… if he is still there you know exactly what I mean! Tell him that the next bottle of potato vodka is on me next time I head that way!

Mike Bochnovich and Teddy Jenkins on a ski trip in January, 2012.
This January I went out to Colorado to see Brother Teddy Jenkins and some other good friends. It was great to catch up on old Phi Delt Times and have fun. I am still running my own financial practice in Cincinnati and am currently looking for new advisors to join my team. I also run the internship program in Cincinnati for Northwestern Mutual. I am expecting a baby girl in May 2012 and couldn’t be more excited. Being Greek and being in Phi Delta gives you a big advantage in the business world. There are many business owners and professionals I have been able to meet just because of PDT.

Favorite Memories: Trip to Amsterdam with Chris Rugh and the time Michael Bochnovich took a vegetable tub, placed it in the middle of the basement, climbed into it in just his boxers and proceded to pour milk all over him to the tune of “pour some sugar on me” by Def Leppard during a house party. Other favorite moments would offend rational people and will be reminenced about over a pint at a local pub.

Logan Gabriel Carano was born at 7:32 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007. At 8 lbs, 12 oz. and 21″ long he surprised both his mother and I (but mostly his mother), as neither of us are big people, as most of my brothers at 1942 Iuka will probably attest.
Both Logan and Leslie are doing well, and we’re all eagerly awaiting the Big Ten-SEC rematch in the BCS National Championship Game on January 7. Go Bucks!
